Simply put-this is a blog about the city girl I used to be-the country girl I am now-and the things that are important to me. This is about the journey of life from the tiny to enormous and joyous bits in between. Here we are learning the hard way about gardening, homesteading, canning, solar-living, wood-cookstoving, animal husbandry and wearing out a lot of flip-flops along the way.

Is it wrong
to want a Basset Hound, a Welsh Corgi, and a Dachshund simultaneously?
Well our next door neighbor has a Welsh Corgi...and she is so cute...but NAUGHTY no matter how hard they train her. :) I think cause they are work dogs...herding and all...need lots of stimulating. Can you breed all three types into one breed??? LOL
NO...get all three!! Dogs are like potato chips, you can't have just one.
Of coarse feeding them and keeping them healthy is a whole other ball game, but that is one of the reasons this farmer's wife goes to work everyday. :-)

No, I don't think it's wrong at all...When I was a kid we had a 'sheep dog, collie and poodle...'
I hope you've had a good weekend!!
